heres a fun deck ive had a good bit of success with! :3 when this deck pops off it pops off with some seriously big boards and plays
as long as gate order is in this meta, it has a competitive niche: yamiterasu the divine delayer's special summon lock can kill gate order, especially since judgment of the rising light and card devastation are becoming less common and usually arent played at 3 anymore, if at all. so this deck is meant to be able to turbo out a yamiterasu asap when you need him
outside of the gate order matchup, your go-to play is instead kimeluna the lunar dark decider to change the opponent's field to def, then fusing into her fusion form kimeterasu the rising luna to raigeki them fur big damage. and turn 1, against most matchups (not gate order tho) a yamiruler the dark delayer is even still like the most impactful first turn a deck can consistently make
secret sword technique! refined ruler render is also a brutal finishing move thats hard to prevent (it works on every fusion you have), and you can easily chain together several with magical stone excavation too to hit 10k+ atk!! ruler render is your main way to deal with backrow like dark revelation or vacua annihilation, but your fusions also give an in-engine way to handle them, in particular metallion asurastar
your draw power to make yamiruler and/or yamiterasu are of course amazing dealer and trade-in. in particular trade-in combos with mezame the august awakener and kimeterasu adding your lv8s back to hand!
semeruler the dark summoner adds trade-in consistency, but his fusion semeterasu the celestial summoner can come up occasionally in some matchups (most mons besides metallions are 0 atk) and he can help set up the main 2. semeruler summoning kimeluna can help with kill power sometimes too. of course the metallions are played fur more consistency in making threats in general, like a lot of fusion decks. metallion vritrastar, metallion ladonstar and metallion eraclestar are all matchup-dependent toolbox fusions, so their mats are played at less copies than sword dancer. note that since this deck is made fur megaroad pack format, its missing splendid floor master; add him if youre playing with kp10 ofc!
when siding is allowed, you can also side in imaginary ark tower as another anti-backrow option, enraged scale liberation to make your engine faster if you really really want yamiterasu really fast, and more copies of your situational metallion mats depending on the matchup!
41 card gang btw :33
