I personally don't like playing maximums much but I can't deny the popoffs are very cool.
The goal of this Combo deck is to assemble the 3 pieces of the Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst. Using its unique properties, that being that every single maximum piece is a Level 7 or higher Dragon monster, means you can utilise cards like Phoenix Dragon to act as 3 copies of Monster Reincarnation as well as draw spells like Ship of Seven Treasures and Heavenly Gift. While you could use those draw spells regardless of maximum by building in a certain way, all the pieces being high-level means you have more space to run lower level monsters. Those low level monsters that we will be playing with is a pool of Pyro Normal monsters to fuel the Art of Masked Fiery Noodle Drawing-Out-The-Rich-Tasty-Flavor Reversal, a very strong piece of draw power that, together with the rest of your draw cards, can churn through your deck very quickly. Pot of Greed is an interesting choice for the Legend, the reason it is chosen is because if you activate it from a 5 card hand, you'll end up with a 6 card hand, which makes it possible to use the effect of Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst (R) (which requires a discard of 3 cards) on the same turn you maximum summon, allowing for easier OTK potential together with Great Multistrike Dragon Dragias Burst (L)'s effect. Not only that, every extra card in hand can translate into discard fodder for your other spells, so keeping the card advantage is very handy for multiple purposes.
Overall fun deck when it gets its gears turning, but as a maximum deck you will be saddled with disappointment a fair bit as despite playing 10 draw spells and 9 draw monsters as well as 3 of an in theme Monster Reincarnation, the deck isn't 100% consistent and can fail to find pieces, either by bricking on high level monsters (we are on 11 2 tributes to facilitate the draw spells), not drawing the right pieces, or failing to either find the draw spells or lose your draw spells to backrow removal. Despite that, the popoff the deck can do is fascinating to watch. If you like decks that can draw through half their deck when the stars align, this deck may be for you.
