Beatdown Deck. Made from the express desire to play with bad cards. Beast Gear King Convoy Liogon has potential in the environment against Gate Order by being able to swing into presumably the 3 normal Level 7 monsters on the Gate Order player's board, but it still is quite restrictive in not allowing you to make any other attacks besides with Liogon and needed to sacrifice specifically 2 Level 4 or lower Beast Warriors, and the Beast Warrior pool is not particularly great. I've simply chosen the highest statted Beast Warriors, with the exception of the Goblins, which lose 200 base ATK over other choices to gain utility effects involving sacrificing themselves (which still isn't ideal since you'll want to be sacrificing them with Liogon but at least they can do something besides be a beatstick). Deck is also running 3 Rhythmical Performer and 3 Upstart King Rex mostly to take advantage of Gate Order's playstyle. Rex also incidentally is Upstart Goblin support and at this point we're playing 3 cards that benefit off Upstart so I'm trying Upstart Goblin as the Legend for the deck to give the low-level monsters additional utility, and makes running Apocalypse - Legend of the Warrior a lot more interesting, being able to not only set up Liogon but to also occassionally act as a form of removal with Unfulfilled Goblin with Upstart in grave, though you can opt to play something that is less piece reliant and more individually powerful (e.g. Mirror Force). Beast Gear Emperor Catapult Kong is something we've opted not to run as its effect takes a bit too much set up and its ATK stat is not ideal enough, only crashing with the 2.5k sticks of Gate Order under Apocalypse - Beast Gear World while Liogon beats over them. Important to note Beast Summoner (and Beast Gear Trike Fox) only summon Level 7 or lower Beast Warriors (in Summoner's case Winged Beast and Beast as well), so Liogon is not a legal target (why the Beast Gear themed card is designed explitictly to not work with the Beast Gear themed boss monster is beyond me). We've chosen to play Summoner over Trike Fox as Summoner is more flexible, but you can certainly consider running Trike Fox, or both. Also still playing the Secret Order package to help the deck keep up with faster decks, and the target for the deck, Ultimate Flag Mech Tough Striker, also gets buffed by Beast Gear World, which we are running not only to help our 2 tributes contest the onslaught of vanilla 2.5ks, but to also enable Apocalypse - The Unstoppable Beast-Warrior, which we aren't playing more of as it requires not only a good Beast Warrior target to revive but to also have Beast Gear World active, which is one too many stipulations to make me consider more copies of the card, but it still cheats out a body and provides a form of piercing, albeit temporary. Overall, fun beatdown deck, not particularly strong but can hold its own.
